Our Story
About Deghchi
Har Handi Mein Kahani — every pot has a story. Here's ours.
Where It Began
Our Story
Deghchi started in a home kitchen, not a commercial one. Long before there was a menu or a storefront, there was a deghchi — a simple clay pot — passed down through the family, used to slow-cook everything from karahi to kheer. Every recipe we serve today traces back to that same pot, and the hands that taught us how to use it.
We opened Deghchi to share that food the way it was always meant to be eaten: unhurried, generous, and made for people, not for profit margins.
"A good karahi doesn't need a recipe card. It needs patience, the right pot, and someone who remembers how their mother made it."
What We Believe
Our Values
We don't cut corners on ingredients, and we don't rush the cooking process. Every karahi is made fresh to order, every biryani is layered by hand, and every spice blend is made in-house — because that's the only way it tastes right.
Whether you're dining in, picking up takeaway, or ordering delivery, you're getting the exact same food we'd serve our own family.
